There are several key factors that make this principle work. Most people miss key ingredients, thus they do not see results.
Dr Norman Vincent Peale, the founder of Positive Thinking, explained a powerful secret to manifesting one’s desire is the “AS IF” principle.
This principle is actually a specific formula that produces results 100% of the time, if used correctly.
The basic concept is the FEEL NOW, AS IF you would FEEL if you were actually in possession of what you desire.
There are several key factors that make this principle work. Most people miss key ingredients, thus they do not see results.
First, a person must know exactly what you want to manifest, in precise detail. It must be specific.
The more specific and detailed, the more power you have in manifesting it.
Next, one must WRITE IT DOWN. Goals not written down are just wishes. They have no power. You have no “need” to achieve it. You are not serious. Thus the universe will know you are a fake and a fraud and nothing will happen. You will not manifest what you wish for. You will only manifest what you NEED and have a burning desire for.
When you write down you goal in great detail, you transfer the wish into the physical universe. It becomes “solid”. It becomes more “real” to your subconscious mind.
Next, your goal has to be YOUR goal, not someone else’s goal. It has to be what you REALLY want and are in alignment with, not something you THINK you want or what society tells you that you should want. Think about this when setting a goal.
Next, your goal has to be big enough to excite and motivate you. It has to get your juices flowing. You must NEED to have it. You have to have a BURNING desire for it’s attainment.
BUT, it has to be small enough that you KNOW that you CAN attain it. It cannot be pie in the sky. You do not have to know NOW exactly HOW you will attain it, but you have to know that you CAN. You must believe in your goal and believe that you CAN attain it. You must have confidence in YOURSELF. This comes from having a powerful image of yourself as someone who is a winner and DOES attain goals they set for themselves.
Next, you have to put a deadline on it’s achievement. The goal should be something you CAN attain within a reasonable period of time. Perhaps it is a goal you can attain in a month, or 3 months, or 6 months. The deadline should be no longer than 12 months.
You also have to “chart your progress” and “keep score”. You need to know if you are getting closer to your goal. You do this by graphs showing your progress.
Next, you have to tell the universe to give you the “how”. The universe will give you a “plan”. You will get from the “ether” the action steps you need to take. Plan you work, and then work your plan.
Most importantly on this point is to take action TODAY. It is critical that you DO SOMETHING that is an action step to help you get closer to your goal within 48 hours after your write down your goals. Then sooner the better. You must do some action step every day. If you really need to attain your goal, you will be obsessed with its attainment. You will work on it “all the time”. You will think about it all the time.
A living is made 9–5, a fortune is made after 5. Winners work nights and weekends on the attainment of their goals. They wake up early and go to be late. It is their obsession.
Next you have to “add mass” to your goal. If you want a new Mercedes, then go and sit in a new Mercedes EVERY WEEK. Touch it, feel it, smell it. This adds “mass” to your goal and makes it tangible and real.
Lastly, get pictures of yourself in possession of your goal. Use AI to have pictures made with you and your goal. If you want a new Mercedes, have someone take a picture of you in the car you want to attain.
Take these pictures and put them on a dream board. Look at them often.
With these steps in place, the AS IF principle will work.
Then follow these instructions:
Look at the pictures of your dream board with you in possession of your desire.
Close your eyes and see yourself in your minds eye in possession of your desire. Make this a movie.
Next, while seeing yourself in your minds eye in attainment of what you desire, FEEL NOW AS IF you WOULD feel if you actually HAD what you desire right now.
Maintain this feeling for at least 68 seconds.
You should do this process every morning as soon as you awake and right before you go to bed to program your subconscious mind.
You should also do it more often. The more the better.
This is the actual process used by the richest people in the world to attain their desires.
When THEY do it, they are broadcasting the frequency of what you want on a THETA wave. Most people’s brain vibrates the BETA wave. That will not work as well or as fast, but it still works.
